believe it or not the word soccer came from the UK long before we americans started using it, the UK changed from calling it soccer to football.

I was stationed in Nuremberg, Germany, in the early 80s. I took advantage of traveling to a few countries. I had an amazing time at volksfest inside the Black Forest....I was enchanted....the other was the Bavarian Alps in summer....and of course in winter too....spectacular! The French, Italian, Swiss and German is where I learned to ski....fond memories of Europe 🇪🇺..... the only national park that I've been to in the states is the Florida Everglades....and that's because I live in Southern Florida 😀......happy travels everyone 😀....I love nature 😀 26:17

When I lived in Chicago in the late 80's, early 90's, I went to a local bar with friends and we were there from 10pm to 11am. At 5am the waitress said we needed to order a couple pitchers of beer, step out to the patio for an hour while they cleaned the bar and reopened. 150 people piled into the patio area, it was awesome and became a weekend ritual.

I live in Mississippi and in my opinion the reason for high crime is lack of jobs and lazy people. I wasn’t born here, I’m from England originally and I have worked hard for the little money I got before I retired. It’s hard to live a comfortable life if you can’t afford it. I do miss work but I am disabled now due to Rhumatoid Arthritis. I have lived in Mississippi since 1972, went back to England for 3 years with my daughter but came back because I missed it here. I had to work 3 jobs in England to make it. I only worked one job here in a casino and made decent money. Hurricane Katrina messed that up for everyone because our Casinos were right on the beach. The casinos paid good money but could do better considering how much money they make. If I knew I could make good money in England I would move back but England is having problems too. So I will probably die here in Mississippi.

When you hear the negative stories about immigrants (particularly illegal immigration) in the US, always remember, Florida has been taking in Cuban refugees by the tens-of-thousands every year for decades now without ever once denying them entry and a home. The people who try to turn our current illegal immigration problems into something about race or hate, instead of recognizing that millions per year is impossible, do not represent the majority of the US. Everything they say is propaganda. Most of us have always recognized the need and purpose of the US to help people while simultaneously respecting the rule of law. We have some of the easiest LEGAL immigration laws on the planet and an open-door policy. The illegal influx we see right now is not refuge seekers, they are slaves and soldiers in a war they don't understand.

There was a movie series in the 60's named after route 66 ... and the theme song i believe was get your kicks on 66. for me this is pure nostalgia. Keep in mind this is a very quick go through so you are missing alot ' I am 67 years old so i was just a kid when route 66 the series came out , you can probably look it up on you tube here. Now i will be discussing with my spouse about taking a month long trip on 66 because i don't want to miss a thing.
